Your network is your net worth so the old adage goes.

And to a certain extent, this is true. Who you hang around with and associate with does determine what you are likely to turn into. There are of course anomalies in this but for the majority this is true.

After all your environment shapes the way you think. No one is born able to discriminate, it is a taught behavior.

So is success. Anyone can learn to become successful. You do not need a degree, you do not even need to be the smartest person in the room. I mean look at Youtubers as an example. Many of them are not the brightest cookies in the jar. But they are still extremely successful.

So what can you do to become just as successful?

You can level up your squad.

In this blog, I will show you exactly how to level up your squad so you are able to become more successful.

What this does not mean:

Now not for one minute am I saying do not hang around with your friends because they are not successful right now. That would be nonsense!

I am also not saying that you have to stop hanging around with family members who are not successful either. Again that is silly.

The first step:

The first step on the path to leveling up your squad is to take note of who are the key players in your life.

Then you need to decide whether they are a positive or negative influence in your life.

How To Tell If Someone Is Positive:

This is usually the first question people will ask me. The answer is as follows:

  • Are they a positive person?
  • Are they trying to grow?
  • Are they wasting time playing video games, or are they studying new things?
  • Do they have dreams bigger than what they are now?
  • Do they encourage you?

Once you have answered these questions you can start to form your list of positive to negative people.

Now it is at this point that most people say, well my best friend is negative do I have to get rid of her from my life?

No! Of course not! Should you entertain the negativity no. It might be that you need to step away from them and start spending more time with the positive influences in your life, overspending your days worrying and taking in that negativity.

It may be that you explain to them that you are focused on growth and you need to take a step back from the friendship.

It could be you need to have an honest discussion with them to see if you really want them in your life.

The issue with negative people is that they will try to bring you down to their level. If you are succeeding, they will try to bring you down with negativity from their own lives. Their relationship is failing, they are broke, etc.

They will use some excuse to take your attention away from your growth this is what you cannot allow.

So you need to switch it up and go spend more time with the positive people in your life.

When you do that first you become more positive just like negativity, positivity spreads too.

Also, your most positive friends will be friends with more positive people, who will also be successful. This is the network that you want to focus your attention-getting into.

Add One More Positive Person:

As stated above when we hang out with our positive friends they will be friends with other positive people start adding their friends into your friend’s group. Hang around with them more. And soon they will become your friends.

Then rinse and repeat the cycle. Soon enough you will be surrounded by positive people.

Upgrade Your Coaching:

At the same time as this, the other way to upgrade yourself is to start getting coaching from those who have achieved what you want to achieve, the simplest way to do this is to buy coaching.

Coaches have the experience you need to get to your next level. They can advise you on how to become successful, and they know how to do what you want to do.

This also increases your network too!

Conclusion:

To end this very short blog, I would like to take a moment to say that leveling up your squad is not easy in the beginning in fact it can be quite scary. But unless you are willing to take the plunge, you will be unable to reach the levels of success that you desire. So instead of wasting your time. Begin leveling up your squad today.

Find out what success you want then do everything you can to achieve that success. Sure it might mean pulling back from certain people, but you have to look at the long run.

Until tomorrow this has been your coach Andy.
