How To Make Sure You Do Not Become Dissatisfied

A massive killer of our deer and motivation to move our companies forward I became dissatisfied with the vision that we have.

Why do we become dissatisfied with everything, once we have reached a certain level?

We start to look down instead of looking up…

Let me explain.

At the beginning of a challenge, we only can look up the mountain that we have to climb as there is nothing to look down below.

We stand on the start line and mentally prepare before the bell goes off and we start our climb.

As we climb in business we overcome obstacles, our bodies full of motivation and meaning, but at some point, we hit our goal and we then look around at what we have built.

It could be that you have built a team around you that handles most of the day-to-day. It could be that you now have enough money to retire.

But whatever it is you look around and see the vast open space that is around you. You have conquered the mountain that you wanted to conquer.

All becomes great for a time.

But then you all of the sudden loose interest. Your heart begins to ache, and you find yourself in the same place you were before you started the climb. Dissatisfied with your life.

Now your life will have changed by this point in time. But yet you feel empty.

The reason for this is you have stopped looking up because you have reached the peak.

Here is a quote that I like.

The peak of one mountain is the bottom of the next.

What we fail to do is realign our goals with a higher purpose. We stop growing and start contracting instead.

When we contract we go against our natural instinct to grow.

We have no goals anymore and we have nothing to fight for.

Slowly our motivation wains and we become nothing along with our businesses.

So how do we stop this from happening to us when we reach the first peak.

We decide to climb again.

How we do this is by keeping that motivational fire burning.

We need to take a seat. Have a rest and decide on what we want to achieve next.

The goal is to be ambitious and meaningful.

It could be:

  • Starting A New business
  • Starting A Charity
  • Opening A New Service
  • Expanding Operations

It could be one of a hundred different ideas.

But it has to stoke the fire within ourselves.

It has to make us have a burning passion to continue to grow.

You could learn a new skill that will help with the growth of your personally or professionally. It does not matter.

The key to never becoming dissatisfied is to keep changing your goals, making them loftier than ever before. In doing this you will always have fire and happiness in your life.

The human being is made to be challenged, That is when we are in our element.

Until tomorrow this has been your coach Andrew.
